habitat 02:43
Most days I spend my time trying to be someone, Try to walk off my worries, Always in a hurry, Hang inspiration on my walls. Got a habitat to kick, Won’t always be like this, I part softly from my worries, With the love you give. Lately there’s so many things that I don’t understand, I don’t know where I’m going, But I know where I stand. Coz you give me something I can, You give me something I can, You give me something I can, Hold on to. Got a habitat to kick, Won’t always be like this, I part softly from my worries, With the love you give.

I’ve been coming, I’ve been coming down, down, lately. Trying to find my, Find my way back home, home, to ya. Love ain’t, love ain’t, love ain’t, love ain’t for everyone, Love ain’t for everyone. And the form I’ve been taking, Change is all we’ll ever know, With the forms you’ve been breaking, I come alive, come alive. Oh dear my dear, This is just an in-between, There’s a changing of the guard in me, It’s breaking my head. Love ain’t, love ain’t, love ain’t, love ain’t for everyone, Love ain’t for everyone. Love ain’t, love ain’t, love ain’t, love ain’t for everyone, Love ain’t for everyone, Love ain’t for everyone, Love ain’t for everyone.

sign 03:01
They always say that I’m on my way, It could happen today, Felt for so long that I come so far, But I’ve been kicking the dust. A whole lot of thinking’s making me breathless, But something’s better than nothing, Is there nothing better than this? I’ve been looking for somebody, I’m not convinced, no I’m not a believer, Sometimes, sometimes. It all keeps moving on so easy, But lately nothing’s coming naturally, give me A sign, sign. Change, calling out “come my way!”, Wanna know your name, And will I know your face? I breathe in, eyes locked to the ceiling, Laying back with my fingers, tracing your shape in my mind. I’ve been looking for somebody, I’m not convinced, no I’m not a believer, Sometimes, sometimes. It all keeps moving on so easy, But lately nothing’s coming naturally, give me A sign, sign. A whole lot of thinking’s making me breathless, But something’s better than nothing, Is there nothing better than this? I’ve been looking for somebody, I’m not convinced, but I’m still a believer, Sometimes, sometimes. It all keeps moving on so easy, But lately nothing’s coming naturally, give me A sign, sign, A sign, sign.

who am i? 03:43
Every day I'm on the run, From myself and everyone, Never thought I'd come undone, Oh no look what I become. Oh who am I these days? I get so scared of what I don't understand, Who am I? Oh I had that dream again that I was seventeen, I didn't care for answers, had no questions inside of me, Then the ground falls from beneath my feet, I open up my eyes, I'm lying in my bed again wondering "who am I?". Who am I? Who am I? Sometimes it takes twice as much, To rid my mind of all bad luck, It seems these words just don't add up, It seems the truth just ain't enough. Who am I? Who am I? Don't go worrying, Oh I'm just trying to figure me out. Oh I had that dream again that I was seventeen, I didn't care for answers, had no questions inside of me, Then the ground falls from beneath my feet, I open up my eyes, I'm lying in my bed again wondering "who am I?". Who am I? Who am I?

about

Dan says of ‘Good People. Bad Habits.’, “The title comes from the idea that nobody is inherently bad. Everyone is born good and external forces ‘teach’ us to be ‘bad’. It’s a glimpse into where my head has been for the past year or so. Seeing the smaller things as important and doing a clean-out of a lot of things I used to think mattered. This EP is the most fearless and unapologetic I’ve been with my music.”
